Camping on South Padre Island Beach with the Black Series | RV Living

We had not been to the beach in some time and we wanted to get away and enjoy some down time, so we took our HQ19 Black Series camping down on South Padre Island. We wanted to see how long we could boondock on South Padre Island with the Black Series Trailer. We wanted to push the capabilities of the Black Series and see how long we could go unsupported. We were mainly concerned about our waste tanks (and if we had enough coffee). We were hoping for several days of sun and fun, instead we got stuck in a rain storm and a cold front. We were still warm and cozy with great views out of the black series windows! The Black Series trailer did really well camping on the beach of South Padre Island. We did get stuck in the sand but a few simple tricks got us unstuck and safe.
