Hey Guys! I’m back in Denver but I’m still finding time for nature. Today my friend Nancy came with me to explore one of my favorite easy trails, the 4 mile round trip Ceran St. Vrain Trailhead. The St. Vrain river runs along the trail is a big fly fishing spot in Colorado.

I think mud season is coming early this year with the warmer temperatures, it was super wet! We passed by some forested campsites that are right by the river and easy to get to, maybe a mile in. There is usually people out there, but it’s a really nice forest to visit when your looking for a short hike with good payoff.

I really can’t wait for the wildflowers and spring to really kick in, the Rockies are most beautiful in the spring!
