As part of the second tailored SGAC Deep Dive Masterclass, this session focused on the mid-advanced project preparation stage with theme "Formulating Finance-Ready Projects and Compelling Business Case." The online session took place on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, and was specifically designed for five (5) SGAC Programme Nominated Cities chosen based on their similar mid-advanced stage of project readiness, namely Kuantan, Phitsanulok, Puerto Princesa, Seremban, and Yala. The event featured learning sessions from guest speakers and experts, including interactive dialogues among participants and experts during the small group discussion session.

The second guest speaker, Fakri Karim, the lead advisor for SGAC Programme from United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), explained the process of identifying and preparing potential projects for implementation, management of project after financial disbursement, as well as emphasizing the role of the dual key mechanism in monitoring and guiding the project.
