While at Dalies waiting for Amtrack #3 to pass from the Glorietta Sub on to the Gallup sub, two stack trains passed by each other. The wb 3x3 was staining to gain the grade out of Belen and the Rio Grande Valley and picked up speed as it crested climb at Dalies going west to Rio Puerco. Seconds later a eb Z-Train appeared as the wb cleared Dalies. I knew #3 was minutes away to pass by me on the track in the for ground. Moments later I see a dust stream on the service coming towards me from the east and recognized it was a black Suburban-Tahoe and I was sure it was the railroad police as you will see at the end of this this video. He stopped back by the telephone poles, we ended up staring at each other through our field glasses. After 10 minutes, he finally drove over, swung around and yelled this was a restricted area. I rebutted I'll be on my way and he gave me a thumbs up, turned his music back up and drove off. Nice fellow. As soon as I passed the telephone poles where the "bull" was, Amtrack #3 rounded the curve and I missed the shot by a minute. I suspect the eb Z-Train ratted on me but didn't hear anything on my radios. Oh well, I'll get my shot of #3 on the curve another day. The upload quality of the video is poor???
