Loris Additive Set Testing with upcoming Haken firmware (date TBD). Christophe has posted a few things here and I just had the chance to start testing this and I can say this is going to open up a whole new world for everyone. Although I'm programming this manually for testing, the new tool set will include a Loris Overlay that will let people import their own .WAV samples, convert them to the additive partial format and then store them in the desired additive buffer available in the new firmware (there are plenty of buffers so you can store many sets). Then it will let you manipulate the additive set you load in a lot of different ways so you do not have to do any EaganMatrix programming. Remember this is not sampling but replacing the current Mahling phrase with a sound set of your own and then all the additive operations can then be performed on it just like on the Mahling set. Here testing on Continuum. The Osmose is just playing its standard factory library "tap sitar" preset in the background.
