STL Reverse Engineering in Meshmixer - Z endstop adjuster for CCT / Di3 Plus / Monoprice Makerselect

Ever find an STL on Thingiverse that needs modification but you are unable to edit the mesh? In this video I show you how to measure the part in Meshmixer so you can remodel it quickly in CAD software.

My application was a modified Z stop holder so the homing height could quickly and accurately be adjusted independant of the bed levelling screws. I used Onshape to model but this applies to any CAD program.

Apparently some people bend the metal tab of the end stop switch. I would not recommend this.
