One of the famous bazaars of Isfahan is Isfahan Art Bazaar, which was built in the Safavid period and was one of the architectural masterpieces of that time. In the past, this bazaar was called the Caravanserai of the Shah's mother, which was later renamed the Art Bazaar. This bazaar used to be the tallest bazaar in Isfahan and was known as the tall bazaar of Isfahan. Due to the height of eight meters, this bazaar has been chosen for this title.


The art market has two floors and on the upper floor there are workshops related to ground floor commercial units. The materials used in the construction of Isfahan Art Bazaar are clay and bricks, which were the best local materials in their time. Most of the booths of Isfahan Art Bazaar are on the ground level and in front of some of them there is a ridge. The length of the bazaar is approximately 200 square meters and it has 78 shops. In the traditional art market of Isfahan, most of the existing and active shops are made of gold and silver, which are produced by artists in the workshops in the market. A variety of shops selling gold, jewelry and rhinestones can be found in Isfahan Art Market. The art market in Isfahan has become a specialized gold and coin exchange.

Isfahan Grand Bazaar is one of the best old bazaars in Iran that has a unique architecture and structure. This historical bazaar is also one of the most important tourist attractions of Isfahan, which starts from Naghsh Jahan Square and continues to Atiq or Kohneh Square. There are many historical monuments inside this ancient market, which is why visiting this market is not limited to shopping and shopping because you are exploring a valuable historical attraction. This market, like other traditional markets in Iran, has different sections that include There are palaces, temples, inns, mosques, palaces, baths and schools. Each market order has become an exchange of different goods and products.
