The Muyil Lagoon is quite stunning itself with its aquamarine colors, similar to that of the Maldives, but the real gem is hidden within the lagoon.

Nestled within the Muyil Lagoon is a secret lazy river. Most people who visit Tulum have no idea about this spot. It's about 20 minutes away from Tulum (downtown) and so damn worth it! Carved out by Mayans, these ancient canals are absolutely magical, and so much fun!

After exploring the Mayan Ruins of Muyil, hop on a Sian Ka’an boat tour and they will give you a tour of the Muyil Lagoon.
