Making a custom cassette from an MTB XT 11-42 and Road Dura Ace 11-28 for 1x

Experimenting with combining my XT 11-42 cassette with an old Dura Ace 11-28 cassette I had laying around. I wanted to see if I could get the 12T over to the CT cassette…. Did it work?
