1. *Only 1 Rule:*
    **Do NOT use Reimund’s 3rd skill (S3)**. This is crucial for the strategy to work.

2. *Gerda Passive Awakening Required:*
    Unlike previous versions where Gerda’s passive was not as important, here **Gerda’s passive awakening is required**. In older strats, setting up Reimund’s initiative for the final boss was time-consuming and complicated, but with the right setups, this is streamlined.

3. *Ash:*
    Bring Ash to this fight (not strictly mandatory, but he speeds up the run).
    - Use *Hit List on the Boss* as soon as possible.
    - Use only *Blade’s basic attack* (S1) until Ishtal is in the red zone—then finish with any stronger skill if needed.

4. *Reimund:*
    - *Use only Reimund’s basic (S1) and skill 2 (S2).*
    - S2 triggers a free S1, so alternate between them for speed and efficiency (never touch S3!).
    - Just keep attacking the boss—this keeps initiative flowing to the other AG.
    - With this loop, **the boss will never get a turn or act**.
