Hawai'i Island Beaches-Where and When to go

In this video I offer some tips and tricks to enjoy your best time outdoors at the best beaches in the world. Wake up with the sun and get out before 8:00 AM to enjoy the best ocean conditions and uncrowded places. Plan to leave by 11:00 when the crowds begin to roll in. Avoid chemical sunscreen and opt for sun protective clothing and avoid the hottest part of the day. I have pale haole skin and never need to wear sunblock because I avoid the sun during the worst times for sunburn, I wear a hat at all times and wear a rash guard in the water. Be respectful, always pick up some trash and leave each place better than you found it.
