Today we've got a BRAND NEW YZF-R1M Supersport in the shop and it's getting some goodies! Stock, the 998cc, liquid cooled R1M comes with the crossplane engine derived from MotoGP, Dynamic Ohlins Electronic racing suspension, full carbon-fiber body work and advanced electronics. As with most motorcycles designed for the streets, these things come detuned from the factory. But that's where we come in. We take this R1M and install a full Akrapovic exhaust and do a custom tune to bring this thing to life! But the question is, does the Akrapovic exhaust add power? We were surprised by what we saw. Needless to say, after running it on the dyno and getting the tune finished up, the final numbers were respectable. Let us know what you think of this beautiful machine!
