Last wash + retwist of the year 2023

Dear Diary,

I thought this year was going to be the year that I actually sit and cut or comb my locs. But after this last wash and retwist for the year I can keep going a little longer lol

Reasons why I felt this way:
1) Bored, want to try something new.
2) Hair envy, my daughter’s hair is everything 😍😍😍
3) It’s just hair, it’ll grow back.

Also this was a really tough year for me. I’m just trying to feel like I have control of something because it felt like everything had been out of control. (More on that later)

I love how patient Lo is. I have a whole human mannequin to practice different hairstyles on now. Don’t let me figure out how to do knotless braids its a wrap after that!
