Episode 84 continues our time wandering through the Knoxville Botanical Gardens, slowing down to notice all the different kinds of plants around us.

In this episode, we move gently through the gardens, stopping to look at leaves, flowers, textures, and colors. Aurora takes her time, pointing, pausing, and studying the world up close, while Hope stays snug and content in her carrier. It felt less like a walk and more like a quiet lesson in paying attention.

There was something grounding about letting the pace be slow and curious. No agenda, no rush, just noticing what grows, what changes, and what thrives when given space.

The Mountain Mama Diaries is my personal diary through one of the most challenging seasons of my life. I share these moments slowly and honestly, in the hope that they remind others how healing it can be to wander, observe, and let nature lead the way for a while.
