6 Of My Favorite Van Halen Tricks That You Should Learn!

In this video I demonstrate 6 of my favorite Van Halen techniques that Eddie Van Halen used in his playing that are so cool I decided to make a video on them. It's fun to analyze the nuances of Eddies playing and share how it has influenced us and how it us also evident in a lot of hard rock and metal that followed Van Halen. I cover bending techniques , harmonics, whammy harmonics, whammy dips, how Eddie played thirds and suspended chords and how Eddie approached linear patterns on the fretboard. These are great techniques that are not only teach the techniques that Eddie used, but are fun to learn so you can use them in your own music and playing.
