BMW F750GS Touring Setup, Mods, and Accessories.

Описание к видео BMW F750GS Touring Setup, Mods, and Accessories.

This is my touring rig for long distance motorcycle travel. I also show my audio setup among other things. I'll talk about my Madstad windscreen, Rox Pivot Risers, and Givi accessories. Hopefully you'll find something useful.

1. Madstad Windscreen - https://madstad.com/collections/bmw/p...
To get 15% off your order go through the purchasing process and create an account, but don't complete the purchase. Navigate away before buying. At this point they have your email address and their system will email you a 15% off coupon shortly. Let's keep this secret to ourselves. Their website will show you how to measure to get the right size windscreen.

2. Barkbusters - I bought these from Revzilla. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/b...
I searched high and low for a place that sells these cheaper than $136 but had no luck.

3. Smartphone mount for BMW GPS mount - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01...
This one works great, but it's expensive at $100. You may want to check ebay for something similar, but cheaper.

4. Rox Pivot Risers - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...
These accomplished what I wanted and that was to raise the bars and bring them closer to me.

5. Enlarged Foot Brake Lever - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...
This is the one I bought. It's nothing special and you can probably find one cheaper on ebay. I did do some DIY to raise this even higher. A little imagination and you can do it too if desired.

Audio Setup...

I bought an inexpensive bluetooth helmet rig copied after Sena or Cardo first. I was never a fan of it. The music quality was horrid and to defeat the wind at highway speeds you had to crank the volume which made everything worse. Now you may not have to do that with Sena or Cardo as I've never had one, but since I don't need to communicate with other riders I decided to go a different route and try and kill two birds with one stone by creating this audio setup. First, since my earbuds are custom molded it's pretty quiet inside my helmet even at highway speeds. Secondly, since it's quiet I don't have to turn the volume up at all. That's a win win for me. The other nice thing about this setup is you never have charge anything.

Just Mixer - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LPT8KQA/...
In order to have two audio inputs and one output you need a mixer. The "Just Mixer" is the least expensive one I could find that was powered via USB and provided (1/8") 3.5mm inputs and outputs.

Besign Ground Loop Isolator - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06...
For whatever reason I had an annoying hum so I found a ground loop isolator that took that out.

Earbuds - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...
There's really nothing special about these except they are a slim profile making your helmet easier to get on and off. They're cheap and sound great.

Custom molded earplugs - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...
One of the nice things of creating these molds for your ears is you can put your helmet on (and off) and the earbuds stay in place. I first tried this audio setup with just earbuds with no molds, and about 50% of the time the earbuds would come out of my ears while putting on my helmet. That doesn't happen now with custom molded earbuds. See this video to make custom ear molds...    • Custom Molded In-Ear Monitors Under $...  .
