MD - Earthion - July 2024 - New Footage

Yuzo Koshiro has released new footage of Earthion, and it exceeds expectations once again. This game just keeps getting better and better! The latest clip showcases some massive, previously unseen sprites, along with fresh music, stages, and the debut of the Yuzo Koshiro Golden Game Generation (YKGGG) logo sound that will play when the game boots up. "Here's a sneak peek of Earthion Stage 2 (Stage 1 is still in development and shown in the video)," Koshiro shared on social media. "Everything in this stage is authentic and runs on a Mega Drive, except for the background music, which is played on an MD emulator. The music uses genuine FM synthesis (YM2612)," he added. "Despite having a less advanced system compared to Etrian [Odyssey], which also uses FM emulations, the quality is just as good, if not better, thanks to superior arrangement and programming.
