This song for some reason struck my heart first when I wanted to do a cover song for the beautiful Sakura flowers in Japan. Sakura flowers is the inspiration behind this cover and to release this on the 80th birthday of the maestro Ilayaraja sir, whom many of the 80`s and 90`s kids have grown up listening to, I think is a mere coincidence and a blessing. May be its for that reason that though I finished this cover a month ago, for some reason, I never released it. I want to thank my darling friends Nived, Karthik and Miki who visualised this cover just the way I did and collaborated with me so unconditionally to make it look and sound this beautiful.
