HIGHGATE VILLAGE WALK!

Join us for a walk around historic Highgate Village!

This leafy, atmospheric and exclusive corner of north London is home to a bustling, eclectic high street, beautiful churches, and some of the finest - and oldest - homes in the capital. Celebrities have, over the years, flocked to the area. Residents past and present include George Michael, Sting, Jamie Oliver, Victoria Wood, Kate Moss, many footballers (Arsenal and Spurs are nearby), as well as numerous artists and writers. The local pubs feel like they belong in a country village, and the views across London from the High Street make you feel like you're on top of the world!

In this video we walk around Pond Square, The Grove, South Grove and the High Street. We walked on a sunny day in September 2024. Highgate is definitely worth a visit. The village is an uphill walk from either Archway or Highgate stations - though you can hop on a bus if preferred! Hampstead Heath and Waterlow Park are nearby, as is Highgate Cemetery. The High Street has an abundance of coffee shops and eateries, and the pubs serve hearty fare. All in all, a fab destination!
