This week in Florida… February and temperatures hit 24°F — the coldest recorded in Orlando since 1936!!!

When the mercury drops, something incredible happens.

From November to March, hundreds of manatees leave the colder ocean waters and gather in the warmer springs of Blue Spring State Park — and this week the count topped 800.

We head out with friends to witness this wild Florida phenomenon for ourselves — and it did not disappoint.
