In this video I create a full alternative/jazz rap song from scratch using Studio One 6! In this in depth tutorial I show you how to create chord progressions and melodies from scratch, how to layer up your arrangements, how to program realistic sounding drums from scratch and how to take your alt/jazz rap beats to the next level.

This one was a big tribute to Mac for me, I had so much fun creating this track, which was inspired by Mac Millers's albums Circles and Swimming.

My whole goal with this video was to envision how Mac's sound might have evolved over time, so I hope you guys enjoy it!
