Welcome to Garden N Health.

Today we are going to see how to prepare Vermicompost /organic Fertilizer at home within 45 to 50 days.

We could make this Vermicompost by using kitchen waste and dried leaves(biodegradable) . Since earthworms are used for composing the waste into Fertilizer, it is known as one of the organic Fertilizers.

To avoid fungi and bad smell, we use coco peat above each layer to absorb the water or extra moisture. And mixing well after adding each layer helps to speed up the preparation process.

Vermicompost compost usually takes 60 to 65 days to use. But by mixing well and adding wdc solution or fermented buttermilk helps to make use of Vermicompost more earlier.
