Kamal Kunj, standing 56 feet tall is one of the most striking pieces of hand-painted textiles on display in the #NitaMukeshAmbaniCulturalCentre. It is one of the largest ever commissioned Pichwai paintings and it aims to revive the 400-year-old art form native to Nathdwara, Rajasthan. Pichwai paintings are intricate depictions of festivities, passing seasons and other ambient elements, traditionally hung behind the idol of Lord Krishna. It has been delicately made on traditional cotton cloth using natural dyes and 24-carat gold. Make sure to check this unmissable piece of artwork on your visit to the Cultural Centre.
