This is an attempt to allow people to understand me more as a human being by explaining why I don't pay attention to the news or politics, even with people who agree with me politically.

Though I don't discuss politics with others, I'm a very liberal person who believes in using her privileges for the benefit of those who are marginalized. If that's not your perspective, that's fine because I have no wish to sway your views, but we probably won't work well together.
