During my internship at WTVO/FOX 39 in Rockford, IL I was given an amazing opportunity to put together a package to air during FOX 39's 9 PM newscast.

I wrote the script and shot some of the video and interviews, but I could not have done this without the help of reporter Marty Kasper who helped me a ton with getting video, weekend anchor Sachelle Saunders who helped me with editing my writing, and our news director Kent Harrell for even giving me the chance to do this.

This experience challenged my ability to be assigned a story the day of the show, get video and interviews, write, track, edit, and get it all approved by the producer (in this case the producer/anchor) in time for the newscast. Before this I was used to having weeks to come up with a story idea and work on one 2 minute package for class.

I think it turned out alright, but as always any constructive criticism is welcome!
