Furthermore, I am using a modern ignition box with digital spark advance. The rpms pulses due to the dwell spark advance for the pre-charge of the ignition coil overlap and above 6 thousand rpms the digital calculation drops. The solution is to take the rpms pulses from the crankshaft magnetic sensors without spark advance. All that will be fixed and more things are coming on the digital dashboard because the engine with its 33 years of use is a gem and because I have time for digital electronics.
