This video attempts to portray extremes of these questions so that you, the viewer, can decide, along with commentary on each. The lights used are the 1000 lumen (27,000 Candela) Streamlight HLX, the 12-1300 lumen Modlite PLH (29,000 Candela) with a warm emitter, and the Modlite OKW with 680 lumens (69,000 Candela).

Each of these lights is toured through the house, and the differences and similarities might surprise you! You don't have to give up CQB conducive properties to get major throw.
