Furina (2023)

Finished this December of last year. This etude (primarily a left-hand builder) tells the story of Furina: a story of a young girl, once pure as water, turned despairing while masquerading as an all-capable deity, with this agonizing play ending in her exposal as a fraud and the seeming loss of her people. However, the girl realizes that not all is lost, and she is freed, from burden and from trauma, at the very end, being able to find her footing forward. [If you have not played through Furina's story in-game, please do; it's actually very compelling.]

Difficulty: probably Henle 7 or 8, I thought it was fairly straightforward when I read through this but then I was the one who wrote it. The patterns are unusually pianistic when it comes to my writing.
