Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is a themed camping resort located in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area at the Walt Disney World Resort. It officially opened on November 19, 1971 as one of the first resorts on property.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground evokes the timeless beauty of the American frontier, with deer, rabbits, ducks and armadillos roaming the Resort’s 750 acres of pine and cypress forest. 4 different campsite options are available depending on your needs.

Tent or Pop-Up Campsite: Starting at $53.00 per night
Room for a pop-up camper or a camper van-type vehicle, and up to 2 tents. Accommodates equipment on a concrete pad up to 10 feet by 25 feet. No pets are permitted

Full Hook-Up Campsite: Starting at $80.00 per night
Room for an RV plus a tent. Accommodates equipment on a concrete pad up to 10 feet by 50 feet

Preferred Campsite: Starting at $89.00 per night
Room for an RV plus a small tent. Accommodates equipment on a concrete pad up to 10 feet by 45 feet. Sewage hook-up

Premium Campsite: Starting at $96.00 per night
Room for larger style RV, Accommodates equipment on a concrete pad up to 18 feet by 60 feet.

Two Swimming Pools to choose from:

Meadow Swimmin’ Pool

Make a splash at Meadow Swimmin’ Pool, the feature pool with a 67-foot-long corkscrew waterslide. Adults are invited to enjoy the serenity of whirlpool spa, while little ones will surely want to splash it up in the adjacent fort-themed water play area—where young buckaroos can breeze down on their own tot-friendly slides.

Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool

Retreat to Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool, the all-ages leisure pool with a whirlpool spa, for a more tranquil swim.

Exploring the Ranch:

Stroll through the stables to see Cinderella’s Ponies and the majestic horses of Main Street, U.S.A.. You can watch the blacksmith make horseshoes and affix them to horses’ hooves, and discover the Dragon Calliope—the horse-drawn musical instrument that Walt Disney purchased for the Mickey Mouse Club Circus Parade at Disneyland Park in the 1950s.

Animal lovers of all ages will delight in the variety of breeds that live at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, including Appaloosas, Arabians, Belgians, Clydesdales, paint horses, Percherons and quarter horses, plus Shetland ponies

Horseback Riding: $55 per person for 45 Min ride. Riders must be at least 9 years old, over 48 inches tall and weigh under 250 pounds.

Trail's End Restaurant: Head off your hunger at breakfast, and dinnertime too, with all-you-care-to-enjoy American favorites in a rustic locale. From sun up to sundown, your taste buds are guaranteed an expedition through flavor country!

P & J's Southern Takeout: Tie on up to the hitching post and pick up a meal first thing in the mornin’ or later on in the day. Inside, yer sure to find all you need to bring a tasty meal back to yer campsite… or at least one of our outdoor picnic tables!

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue: A hilarious, high-spirited hootenanny the whole family will enjoy, accompanied by a finger-lickin’ countrified feast.

Mickey's Backyard BBQ: Dance with Mickey, Minnie and Friends at this finger-licking, foot-stomping barbeque buffet.

Chip ‘N’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long:

Join nutty friends Chip ‘n’ Dale for some old-fashioned family fun as you roast marshmallows around a crackling fire.
