Polygon turning simulation

A time lapse animation of turning polygon, i.e. multi-sided, shapes on a lathe using a secondary live spindle with one or more cutting tools. In this case the cutting tool rotates at double the lathe spindle speed and we see how a near flat surface is traced out by the interaction of two rotating objects.
