How Do We Study The Bible?

All scripture is from God and
Is made for teaching, rebuking,
Correcting and training in
Righteousness!

As it is written
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness;
(2 Timothy 3:16 NASB)

So, do not forget God’s teaching
And keep His commandments in
Your heart!

As it is written
1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
But have your heart comply with my commandments;
(Proverbs 3:1 NASB)

Because the Word will help you
Not to sin against God!

As it is written
11 I have treasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You.
(Psalm 119:11 NASB)

Here are some tips on how to study God’s Word…

Make sure that you are able to have a quiet place.
Have some time in prayer before you start.
Start with a bible plan on a bible app.
Have a pen and some paper for notes.
Reread bible passages if needed.
Be open to hearing from the Holy Spirit.

Father God,

Thank you, for your Word Lord. Help me to study your Word so that I may not sin against you. And help me to make a quiet place for myself so that I can hear you speak to me through your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name Amen!
