Another hazy morning at Gatwick Airport, with the sun shining and RWY08L in operation decided to go down for the morning. The purpose of this trip was to catch the newest airline to Gatwick, WestJet. Canadian budget carrier WestJet began flights to London Gatwick just last week and got well and truly stuck in sending 4 flights a day! So I went down to catch them, as well as all the other regulars at Gatwick. As well as Norwegian's ever expanding Long-Haul network from Gatwick, BA have also started a few new long-haul routes, some of which are featured in this video. Such as New York JFK (Yes, from Gatwick!) and San Jose (Costa Rica). Funnily enough BA began flying to two different San Jose's in the same week. They now offer flights to San Jose in California from Heathrow using a 787 aswell as San Jose in Costa Rica from Gatwick. I included all the interesting airlines & one EasyJet ;) Because lets face it, it wouldn't be Gatwick without them.
Lots of holiday flights and charters now in full swing for the summer season, so lots to look out for.
