Very powerful build for Skull & Bones for both high tier pvp and pve.
Additional facts for better understanding some of the build's aspects and overall game mechanics:
-In this game gear score of your ship does not affect your damage done. Tested on the same rogue pirate ship gs 11 with both gs 11 and 12, shooting 1 shot of Zamzama 3 and every hit on both gs 11 and 12 did 279 damage with 1 crit at 280.
-Furniture do increase your damage, but all items in slot 1 increasing damage score for 50, and every item in slots 2-5 for 30, so basically at ship level 5 if you fill all slots with furniture you will get +170 damage score no matter what you are using.
-As far as I tested, you need to use crew attack first and only after it all the damage you do will be buffed.
-Sambuk is a nice option, but Brigantine at least for this build is better in all aspects because of the higher hull health (40k vs 35k), brace strength (8k vs 7k) and highest speed stat in the game, which is crucial in pvp activities. Also its one-shot potencial sometimes eases a lot add clearing, especially when you are fighting La Peste and he starts summoning explosive-on-hit adds.
-If we are looking for a build, that will cover both pvp and pve end-game, The Termites 3 is the best variant, because of the Piercing 1 perk, working both on players and pve enemies and structures. Also hitting a crit spot deals a lot of damage without need to place a zone in front of enemy's ship that is not something difficult to avoid in the most situations. Le Fleu can shine if your opponent not playing fast ship to dodge form it's AOE, and it's not a working option in high-tier PVE and seiges. Leopold 3 is a flooding effect gun that deals less damage than Termites 3 and performs worse beacause of the lack of crit hit multiplier Thermites 3 provides.
-Dardanelles Gun working as a grenade launcher with a lot of damage in a big radius, so it's easier to land a shot than with the Skurlock's Long Nines, though the last gun is also performing really well in terms of pvp. Rotation of Dardanelles - Zamzama 3 + Termites 3 - Zamzama 3 doing great amount of damage after crew attack so in most situations you will only need 1 additional shot to finish enemy if it's not dead already. We are building around maximising direct damage rather than dot to have more control over battlefield, especially with the crew attack bonus.
-Caronades is a very strong and really good alternative to Zamzama 3.
-Put Restoration Kit on quick bar to get clean out most of the status effects on your ship, this is how you can easily counter Flooding effect in different activities, especially in pvp. Because of the ease of cleansing we are not using Flooding effect guns in our build and concentrate on pure damage with extra fire bonus dot, rather than mixture of different debuffs. Still debuff builds are very strong in pvp and can cause some troubles until you learn to use your rotation and moves.
-In addition, Black Prince is the best armor in terms of this build, it helps to survive burst damage while using Repair Kit 3 if after you didn't manage to avoid Le Fleu poison AOE or other debuffs.
-Royal Custodian, as I already said in the video, is a working and really strong alternative but less effective in our build. To proc resistance perk of Royal Custodian you need to use Repair Kit 1 to have it's perk active all the time (cooldown of Repair Kit 1 is a very low - 20 seconds), but it's dmg mitigation with small amount of health restored from Repair Kit 1 is not enough to survive burst pressing.
-Whole build is built around ganking playstile but with an opportunity to survive further burst if you fail to press and finish enemy in 1 rotation and to restore your health with the strongest dmg mitigation stat that allows you to start rotation again. Vary Be Menaka food was chosen for the same reason to increase Repair Kit efficiency and to reduce the cost of bracing.
-Ramming, like also was mentioned in the video, works perfectly as a finishing tool in terms of fortified enemies with one-shotting potential on low-tier enemies and strong dps burst tool to finish rotation.
