Henriksen Bud Six - Unboxing and Demo - Big sound in a small package!

Too much talking? Me? Playing demos at 5:15 and 7:27. Future demos will have less chatter.

It finally arrived! I REALLY tried to keep my expectations low because, small and solid state AND because I'm using electric guitars through it rather than acoustics or archtops. Oh, man, was I ever blown away.

My tweed Champ clone does not sound BAD for jazz with the teles...but I need an EQ pedal for 2 of them because I can't get them warm enough otherwise. And even with the EQ, there are spots (like around the 9th-11th fret on the low E and A strings) where unwanted harmonics tend to "bloom" in an unpleasant way. It's the main reason I looked at Henriksen in the first place...the secondary reason being lightweight portability.

One thing I forgot to mention, in addition to the dual inputs, is the Bluetooth capability. I can stream music from my computer or phone to the Bud, either for casual listening or for backing tracks to jam over. This is HUGE! I know these are expensive, but the features, versatility and sound quality really make them a value in the end.

Man, this thing hit a home run! I have no affiliation with Henriksen, but WOW! I will be doing more demos/performances with this amp.
