President Biden and Donald Trump face off tonight in the first presidential debate of the 2024 election in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 90-minute debate, which begins at 9pm local time (2am BST), is being held unusually early in the presidential cycle and gives both candidates the opportunity to try to shape the narrative of the campaign and reach undecided voters.
