There is a lot to love about this pet tracker.

The Tagg Pet GPS Plus pet tracker has a really

"cool" feature that no other pet tracker has...

...An air temperature sensor.

This air temperature sensor will monitor your

pet's surroundings and you will get an alert via

your SmartPhone when the area around your pet is

TOO hot or TOO cold.

I think this is a real plus because it's easy for

us to forget while we are sitting in our air

conditioning or our heated room that we are

feelling comfortable...but who knows how our dog

or cat is feeling when it's outside?

We certainly don't...

...But we will with the Tagg Pet GPS Tracker :).

What Stands Out About The Tagg GPS Plus

1. The Air Temperature Sensor I've already

mentioned

2. The ability to set a Safe Zone. When your

pet leaves the Safe Zone you will instantly get

an alert on your smartphone.

3. Track your pet's activity as well as rest.

This pet GPS has been specifically designed to

keep your pet healthy and to allow you to get an

insight into their behaviour and also possible

early warnings that there is something wrong with

them ie they are unusually lethargic.

4. You can set fitness goals for your pet as

their activity is translated into Tagg points.

5. The battery usually lasts over 10 days before

needing a recharge.

6. As the Tagg Pet Tracker has its own docking

station, when it communicates with it when you

are home it will actually stay in "power-saving"

mode when the tracker (your pet) is nearby. This

is a great feature.

7. You can add up to 5 contacts so that five

people can actually receive notifications if your

pet leaves the Safe Zone.

Other than the features I've already mentioned,

this particular pet tracker has been built to

last with very active pets.

The Tagg Pet Tracker is also waterproof AND swim-proof which is

great if your pet loves the water :)

You can add multiple pets via the Tagg app and

website.

Tractive GPS Pet Tracker Cons

It only works in the US at this point of time.

There have been quite a few complaints about Tagg

Customer Service. I experienced this myself when

I made an inquiry via my pet tracker review

website and found that they took the longest

amount to reply to my email - 4 days.

There have also been quite a lot of comments

about the Tagg App not being regularly updated.

The Tagg Pet GPS Plus is also missing the ability

to make the trcker emit a sound when you are

trying to locate your pet (which is a very

helpful feature).

Some buyers have also made a comment on the tag

appearing to be too large and bulky for their

animal and then switching over to a more suitable

pet tracker.
