More than 100 years ago, the farm where we stand now and recorded this album was a cow farm where you could also often come by and buy some flowers. We always found it a very haunting idea to think that in the same shed (at the same exact spot) where we built and recorded this album, cows were kept and milked. After some years, the main focus of this farm changed to agriculture. You can now find a lot of sugar beets and Dutch potatoes, as well as horses. One day, while recording "Convince Yourself" and wearing our monitor headphones (you can hear every little sound then), we heard a strong low-end rumbling; it was a horse that had run away from the stables and escaped through the street. We had to stop recording and went looking for the horse.

Last Friday we released a song called “Oldest Sister,” a short instrumental song that we fell in love with while composing this album. Pictures are better than words to describe the coloring we chose to give it.
