Their animal behavior is pretty remarkable and given that they are an endangered species, there is all the more to admire. They are primitive mammals, dating back many years with prehistoric lineage. As baby animals they are super cute too! Their ecological role from where they hail is super important, helping rainforest ecology. But are they really 'living fossils'?!
