Description:

The game is set in rural England in 1940, during World War II. Players control Maddox Holloway, a nine-year-old boy whose father is away at the front lines. Maddox's mother is slowly being consumed by a dark affliction, transforming her day by day into a monstrous creature.

Gameplay Features:

Psychological Horror Journey: The game follows Maddox's harrowing struggle, facing fear, suffering, and a crushing sense of responsibility as he must confront the monster his mother is becoming while desperately clinging to the memory of who she once was.

Adventure, Exploration and Puzzles: Players solve environmental puzzles, use platformer mechanics, and explore the countryside (often on a bicycle). It also features Resources & Crafting, where Maddox must tend a garden, gather ingredients, and craft potions and food to help keep his mother and himself alive.
