07.14.2020 | 12:37 AM | LOS ANGELES - A fire ripped through a strip mall, early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported structure fire at a business in the 2200 block of East 1st Street in the Boyle Heights area around 12:37 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a single-story strip mall with fire showing through the roof.

Firefighters quickly attacked the blaze called for additional resources.

Over 100 firefighters worked for nearly two hours to extinguish the building which sustained major damage.

No injuries were reported and arson investigators are responding to investigate the cause of the fire.
