I think with all the new and compelling evidence brought in, especially that which is shown in the one video in this last link, that we will see this as a pivotal time in modern history to show cataclysm over gradualism. There has always been since Huxley's day an alternative to the Darwinian gradualism as we see more recently in the 70s with Stephen J Gould's punctuated equilibrium. However that still depends upon millions of years. The fact that the Grand Canyon shows that the layers were laid with virtually no years between them changes everything. These creationists are the only ones diving into these facts and it is an example of how all the sciences are perverted for selfish gain. Specifically pointed out in this video is that the huge bends in the layers had to have been bended before they hardened due to the complete lack of indication of the contrary. This also means the high rigid mountains around the earth were produced very recently or right after the Flood. MT Saint Helens also shows that what would normally be considered taking millions of years occurred in only a few days (in 1980). So the Grand Canyon itself actually had to have taken place in a very short period of time. I think we have come to a new time in history where God has shown through the rocks and sciences (when uncorrupted), despite the world's attempt to deceive us, that His word is true. I think people are fed up with the lies in the so-called professional/academic world that it is so commercialized that it is useless to us.
