"This is a traditional, middle Tennessee version of the tune. Very different from how it's played in other regions. I used a GDGD cross-tuning. That's actually the concept for my record. Cross-tuning. I explored the Oldtime tradition and I took it to another level. I used 13 different tunings on thew 17 tracks, and I listed the different tunings in the liner notes."
