8 buses, 2 trains and a Hovercraft to The Needles in ONE DAY!

Can you get from Portsmouth to The Needles on the end of the Isle of Wight, using only public transport and back in a day? Yes! But it involves some very long bus rides. From Ryde! In this video, I travel with my son from Havant railway station during engineering work from a Rail Replacement bus, then train from Havant to Portsmouth & Southsea railway station, Hover Bus from Portsmouth to Southsea, Hovercraft from Southsea Hover Port to Ryde Esplanade Hoverport, a look around the demolished Ryde bus station, Bus from Ryde to Newport Bus Station, Bus from Newport to Alum Bay and The Needles Landmark Attraction park, chairlift down to Alum Bay Beach.
And back again.
