Course Description
This course is designed to educate Brokers & agents on the 2025 GAR Seller & Buyer Brokerage Agreements and Seller & Buyer Customer Acknowledgements and relevant Compensation forms & Special Stipulations. This course will introduce agents to these available forms & instruct Brokers on how to guide their agents on how to effectively complete them to protect their clients, customers, & entire Brokerage. Students will leave with a thorough understanding of everything available in the GAR contract package related to working with the public as clients or customers & public compensation for professional services in order to present the value of a Brokerage’s Services in helping the Buying & Selling public.

Course Objectives
1. Understand the differences between working with the public as a Client vs. Customer & how to explain those differences;
2. Understand what Brokerage Engagements & Customer Acknowledgements are available & when to use which form;
3. Understand how to complete the contract & related GAR forms to correspond with the Broker’s relationship with the Consumer & negotiated compensation for professional services;
4. Discuss the related forms and brochures available in the GAR contract package related to working with the public as a Client or Customer.
