My heart is broken.
I received the news that my Disney College Program was cancelled due to the virus.
I am beyond devastated and honestly haven’t gone a day without crying. This was my dream. Needless to say everything was perfect. I have been waiting 8 years to do this and was beyond excited when I was accepted. Now it feels like all the work I did was for nothing, I feel very lost. I am very fortunate to have my family and friends by my side to help me process this. I know this whole situation is out of everyone’s control and Disney had to do what they had to do, but it still hurts. I am 1 out of about 3,000 people that have been impacted by this decision. I know I am not alone and my heart goes out to the DCP community.
This news has dragged me through the dirt and slapped me in the face but I am not giving up. It’s gonna take a little more effort for Disney to get rid of me. All that’s left for me to do now is to keep my head up and do the next right thing. Disney has not seen the last of me, all I have to say to them is
