Last week I went to Stockton Annual Hip-Hop Summit which has a special guest speaker who was Talib Kweli. Mr. Kweli gave his speech and had a Question and Answer segment. I was able to ask him as an upcoming rappers how should we approach establish and legendary rappers such as himself. His response was to put on for the city. He did not know who I was but 30 before his segment was was being interviewed by the press of atlantic city. My plan was to show the press that there is more to me than that viral graduation video. Which worked because that Sunday we made the front page of the living section. The whole page was dedicated to me talking about what I did and what I plan on doing. Talib Kweli told me to put on for my city and thats what I did. Hope he sees this :)
