House of Wheels is more than just a home away from home for children and young adults with disabilities.

It’s a warm and inclusive environment in which young Israelis with physical handicaps are encouraged to reach their full potential, despite their challenges.

The organization brings together 450 young Israelis with disabilities and 450 volunteers for weekly activities, weekend programming, and summer-camp. It teaches leadership and life skills, empowering those with special needs to be their best selves.

They say home is where the heart is and House of Wheels is just that- a home with lots of heart, creating lifelong friendships, bonds, and memories for participants and volunteers alike.
