"HERBIE: "Fully Loaded" -- "Junkyard" cue.

This is an oldie for a not a great movie, but a fun to score and hear recorded. I ghostwrote this for the main composer listed out front. He paid me well. Also "orchestrated" i.e. - put in to SCORE FORM for the copyists to print out parts. That was UNION work. Only way to go really in LA.

I did about 13 minutes in the movie. Would have been much more, but the director was " very inexperienced" and could not make up their mind, about anything. After delivering exactly what asks for - on "preview" day she decide she wanted something for "edgy" and hip than straight up "Disney", who was producing the film. She ended up costing Disney major $$$ as they had to go back to down reshoots. Picture never was "locked" by the time we finished recording.

WHAT DID I DO WITH THIS CUE? I kept the "chassis", but "gutted" and replaced many cello parts with several "funky Munsters" guitar parts; exquisitely played by the great Dean Parks. Was sending parts to the studio as he was recording. I'd rather been there to watch, but that's Hollywood, baby! :). HOPE YOU ENJOY IT.
