Bishop states: This is the church of The Lord Jesus Christ, of apostolic faith. We believe, we preach and we practice that, that the apostles believed, preached and practiced. Therefore, we can truthfully claim that we are The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ, of the apostolic faith. *Some people are puzzled about the name of the church, make up all kind of titles and all kind of names, but they are not correct. Name The Church after the builder. Jesus Christ is the builder, and because He is the builder, we name the church after the builder. And the name of the church is, The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ, and it's of the apostolic faith; because the Bible says they continued steadfastly in what the apostles believed and preached (so then it's of the faith of the apostles). That's the name of the church, and anything else is fictitious—not the name. This is [thee] church and it's of the Lord Jesus Christ, he's the builder of it, he's building it. Every time one gets baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and gets filled with the Holy Ghost, that's another stone that He put in the building. Because the Bible says, we are lively stones built up a spiritual house. Amen. Somebody was telling (we got a call from New York not long ago), and was telling us about a Spanish man come in and got baptized, and got filled with the Holy Ghost. Amen. A German woman come in, baptized I believe Friday night, got the Holy Ghost, Friday night. Amen. Thank the Lord. So, they're lively stones. That's the only way to get in. You call yourself in The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ, without repenting and being baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ—you haven't started. Amen. You haven't started. The way you get in; you repent, get baptized, have your sins all washed away. Then tarry until—until, you get it (The Holy Ghost). Just keep on tarrying, don't count the time you've been tarrying. Just keep on tarrying, that's all. Amen. Don't say you been baptized so many months and you haven't got it yet, don't even look at that. Just tarry. Huh? Amen. Devil make you count the months, and keep counting them and looking over them, and he'll soon tell you it's not for you or you won't get it; he's a liar. Jesus said, "tarry until". So, that's what I want to say to you, and everybody got to do it. Every human that ever did live, or living, or going to live, won't be able to change this. That's the reason I say, every church in the world might as well close its doors, because it's a false church. It's absolutely a false church. Believe me if you want to (you stiff neck and uncircumcised of heart). But I'm telling you this one thing, this is what God ordained. And when God ordains a thing, that's that. And that thing is going to stand forever. So when He come up out of the grave the third day, He told them to go to Jerusalem and stay there until the Holy Ghost come. Now, from that time until now, I haven't had no other advice, or no more instruction as to what to do to get in God's church. All the instructions and everything was given on the day (after He rose from the dead)to the disciples, when He met them; and they went on to Jerusalem and stayed there (like He said), and got the Holy Ghost. And they preached the same, and from that time until now, I have no record of nothing else in the Bible. I don't pay these false churches and false prophets no mind, 'cause all of them headed out for hell (every last one of them). But I'm talking about something you can rest on. Amen. Something that is sure. Something that will stand the test, and it won't change overnight. What it says tonight, when the sun go down, it'll say the same thing when it rise, tomorrow morning. You know, when JESUS come out of the grave, He said unto them (it haven't changed) "these are the words that I spake unto you, while I was yet with you". Bear this in mind, this thing don't change, this thing holds its own, thank God, through ages.
