Milton Keynes Central truly is a special station. It is the only station on the WCML where you can see all trains heading from London Euston to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh. At Rugby station, the Birmingham stretch of the WCML splits from the core route from London to Scotland, so MK Central is the best station to spot at on the WCML.

The station offers many different to platforms and angles to view the trains from. The station also offers lots of variety of trains, I'm pretty sure all LNWR services stop at the station unless one of their units is working ECS. Some of Avanti West Coast's services stop at the station, primarily using platform 4 and 6.

At the station, you can see many different trains from LNWR, Avanti West Coast, like the Class 350, 730 of LNWR and the Class 390, 805/7 of Avanti.
During the evening hours, some freight trains being hauled by Class 66 locomotives can be seen storming through the station.

On Monday 24th February and Thursday 6th March 2025, I went down to the station to catch the evening rush hour action.
